“The automatic doors to entrance was broken. There was a shortage in the lights aroung the sink. There was a shortage in the electrical socket on the wall next to the bed closest to the bathroom. The toilet overflowed on the 2nd night of the stay at 11:30 at night”

“The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. “The room was discusting. It had human fecal matter and blood on wall in bathroom, a used lubricated condom in the nightstand drawer, the refrigerator was a solid block of ice, only one receptacle worked in the room, the furniture was so badly stained you were afraid to sit on it. The toilet didn't work properly, the recptacle in bathroom did not work neither did their hairdryer. The room was overall filthy and can not believe you would even put them on your website. Guess I will not be using...

We indulged in the back yard and sat on the front porch. Rebecca is a tremendous host who is helpful and very responsive. 10 of out 10! ”

“Very sad old hotel that is in great need of repairs and upgrades. There were 2 beds in the room, one was hard as a board and the other was way too soft. Wallpaper coming down, carpet badly stained, unrepaired damage in bathroom, etc. Desk clerk was very nice.”
